Xythos Drive
What is Xythos Drive?
The Xythos Drive is a Windows desktop application that maps a lettered drive to your Xythos on Demand files and folders. This enables all of your applications to work directly with your Xythos on Demand files without you having to take any additional steps to make sure your work is synchronized with our servers.
The Xythos Drive also brings many document management features down to the desktop so from the right-click menu in Windows Explorer you can manage file versions, set up subscriptions and alerts and much more.
Download and Install Xythos Drive
1. To download the Xythos Drive, click here.
2. Save the file to your desktop.
3. Double-click the downloaded file.
4. If you see the message, The publisher could not be verified ... Click Run.
5. Select the language, and then click Continue.
6. In the Xythos Drive Setup box, click Install.
7. Read the terms of the License Agreement, select I accept the terms of this License Agreement, and then click Next.
8. Use the default Destination Directory and Program Group or select browse to select an alternative location, and then click Next.
9. Review installation information, and then click Next.
10. After the installation is complete you need to restart Windows before you can use the Xythos Drive. Select Restart Windows now, and then click Finish.
Xythos Drive will automatically start whenever your computer is started. When Xythos Drive is running you will see the Xythos Drive icon in the notification area of the taskbar, next to the clock.
To manually start Xythos Drive:
1. Click Start.
2. Select Programs.
Select the Xythos Drive folder.
Select Xythos Drive.
