Xythos announces new customers and previews new products at EDUCAUSE 2003
Ten New Schools Select Xythos, Two Universities to Present Xythos Solutions at Event
Anaheim, Calif., November 3, 2003 - Xythos Software, the leading Internet file management software provider, today announced that it has added ten new higher education customers to the list of dozens of colleges and universities which have already standardized upon its products this year. The new Xythos customers include Baylor University, California Polytechnic, Claremont Graduate University, Harvard Business School, John's Hopkins Welch Medical Library, University of Iowa, University of Memphis, University of Redlands, UC Riverside, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Each of these customers chose Xythos to provide secure campus-wide file management and collaboration solutions for faculty, student or administrative personnel.
In addition to expanding its customer base, Xythos has been busy preparing to help its customers better manage documents and file content throughout its life cycle, especially to improve document security and respond to growing regulatory compliance requirements. The company will introduce its recently announced WebFile Scan Manager and WebFile Records Manager software products, each designed to help automate physical and electronic records management for university administrators. Educause attendees can preview these new products as the Xythos booth (#656) on the main convention floor beginning Tuesday, November 3rd.
Xythos products will also be featured in two presentations at Educause 2003. The University of Iowa, and the University of Texas, each will present reviews of their experiences selecting and managing Xythos installations on campus. PJ Abrams, Senior Systems Analyst, University of Texas at Austin will present "WebSpace, the File Frontier: A Web-Based File Storage Solution for Students and Faculty" on Wednesday, November 05, from 10:30 a.m. - 11:20 a.m. in Room 210B. Aletia Morgan, Director, Liberal Arts IT Group, The University of Iowa will present "Pilot Project for Reliable, Accessible University Data Storage" on Thursday, November 06, from 4:55 p.m. - 6:10 p.m. at Exhibit Hall B, Table 44.
