Xythos on Demand runs on best-of-breed hardware and software. The service runs on multiple fully-redundant application servers running Red Hat Linux. At the front end we run behind a high-availability F5 Big-IP load-balancer and Juniper Netscreen firewall. We run on a high-availability Cisco network with separate 100 Mb connections to MCI and GlobalCrossing.
We do all of this to ensure 99.9% up time.
In the unlikely event that Xythos on Demand loses service, we have automated heartbeat detection systems that alert on-site engineers immediately of any disruption in service. Each engineer knows how to troubleshoot and re-establish the service.
