Technical Requirements
Just about anyone can use Xythos on Demand. All that you need is a system that meets any of the requirements listed below:
Web Browser - Xythos on Demand is compatible with most modern web browsers.

Xythos Drive - In order to use the optional Xythos Drive your computer must be running Windows Vista (32-bit edition only), Windows XP (32-bit edition only) or Windows 2000. There is no Macintosh or Linux/UNIX version of the Xythos Drive available at this time.
WebDAV - Xythos on Demand is fully compatible with WebDAV and with popular WebDAV clients including Web Folders, the Mac OSX native client, DAVFS, Cadaver, and of course our own Xythos Drive. There are a few WebDAV enabled applications that can be used directly with Xythos on Demand including the Microsoft Office suite of applications and Adobe Acrobat.
ACL and Delta-V - Xythos on Demand is also fully compatible with the ACL standard for setting sharing controls. It also supports the Delta-V standard for versioning files. The Xythos Drive implements both of these standards and uses them when communicating with the server.
Bandwidth - Xythos on Demand is designed for users accessing with broadband connections. It is not recommended on dial-up connections.
