Always know when someone reads or updates a file using subscriptions, alerts and RSS feeds. For each file and folder you want to be alerted about, you control the delivery options as well as the events you get alerted about. The events you can subscribe to are Read, Edit, Delete and Create (for a folder).
Subscriptions become a powerful tool when used in conjunction with our secure file sharing and versioning.
You control which events you want to be alerted for and how you want to be alerted about them.
RSS Feeds
RSS helps you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content through a RSS feed. It's easy to do; just select any folder, document or Wiki through Xythos RSS, select "subscribe" and you're done. You will see new content as it's posted.
Use Xythos RSS for your customers and partners too. Introducing a new product? Suggest customer subscribe to the RSS so they can receive automatic updates without having to search for content. Want to publicize upcoming seminars? Xythos RSS helps you easily get the word out.
But the uses for Xythos RSS don't stop there. Use RSS internally to keep your team informed of content in Xythos on Demand or use the standards-based feed so that you can track changes from other applications too.
